It has many ways of calling it for what it is..carpet ripples, bubbles, buckles, waves, bumps, lifted up, etc. it's the same problem we all have. It can be Caused by either humidity, moisture, badly installed or aged..regardless, it's a safety hazard and will shortly over time,  damage the backing/fibers of your carpet or shift the padding. Known issue for shortening its overall lifespan by more than half! So if it's now starting to be noticeable or it's been years causing problems, don't put it off any longer!
